Makeup artist and influencer Jaydeen is joined by her hometown sweetheart, Ben. With a big move to London on the cards, she says Ben is supportive of all her dreams and ideas – big or small. They aren’t worried about going long distance for a while; they think it’s important to champion each other’s careers and goals. The definition of smitten, the both value kindness and affection - the only thing they disagree over is pineapple on pizza.

How did you meet?

Ben: We met in a nightclub in Leeds and we met through Instagram after that?
Jaydeen: So he was chatting me up at the nightclub and then when we connected on Instagram, we found out that we went to the same primary school and he was in the year below.

What’s unique about Ben?

Jaydeen: He’s unique because he supports me. I have these random business ideas or I’ll want to be an astronaut one week and he’ll be like “yeah, that’s great!” He doesn’t question it. And he’s so kind.

What’s unique about Jaydeen?

Ben: She’s so creative with anything. She’ll always think of something new and brilliant, even if it’s just a business or a creation or a look, it always looks amazing. She doubts herself sometimes but that’s why we’re great together, because I always boost her up.

What is love?

Ben: To me, love is happiness, being together and affection.
Jaydeen: And love to me is something really unique that you can only feel for that one person and it’s really powerful.

When do you feel most loved?

Jaydeen: I feel most loved when I'm in your arms. I feel really safe and like nothing can affect me and I don't feel I've never felt that before.
Ben: I feel most loved when I’m getting a lot of affection and we're just eating snacks together.
