My hair is quite thick and can be dry at times but this is perfect it holds the moisture in once applied. Good texture for my hair. I would recommend this product if you like thick products.

A little goes a long way
I have type 3a curls, dense but fine. I bought this in the hope it would help to calm and define my curls. The first time I used it I used a blob a little larger than a 50 pence piece and although it did done my curls it weighed them down far too much and my hair felt a little greasy.
The second time though, I spayed my hair with a leave in conditioner and added a very small amount (about the size of a penny) just to the ends and mid-lengths and it worked wonders! My hair was left with lovely defined curls that clumped together beautifully, smelled lovely and lasted all day.
If you have thick or coarse hair I would think this would work very well.
